Paris

Nous sommes à Paris! – We are in Paris! This was planned to be primarily visiting art museums but Friday's attacks are indeed overshadowing our plans.
We are installed in a small but exclusive flat next to Rue de Rivoli adjacent to the Louvre. A prime location for getting around in Paris. Lots of heavily armed soldiers and policemen in the streets. Very assuring.

We took a long walk to the Louvre and followed the Seine to Place de la Concorde in order to breathe the Parisian air and enjoy the mild November evening.
