We successfully navigated the highways, picked-up Morten in Dallas-Fort Worth, and by nightfall we arrived in Wee-Chi-Tah (aka Wichita Falls) just south of the Texas-Oklahoma border.
Here's the original waist-deep ford across the river. "Wee-Chi-Tah" is a Comanche Indian word meaning "waist-deep", hence the contemporary name of the town.
We met David last night – and this morning we all went downtown for brunch and a wefie.
We also checked out David's humble dwelling.
Tonight, we'll have a lively Saturday night in town !!
