This morning we departed Zion Canyon through the hairpin road and the tunnel.
Exciting rock-scapes all over!
Having left Zion, we drove north on the high plateau for a couple of hours and arrived safely in Bryce Canyon National Park.
Bryce is nice!
During the afternoon we have been loafing around on the canyon rim taking in views of tomorrow's hiking route down amongst the hoodoos.
It is indeed an awesome terrain and, luckily, fair weather is forecast for tomorrow.
We are at c. 2600 meters' altitude so we can feel the thin air and the strong UV light;
– Accordingly, we'll go canyoneering at a fitting pace.
