Bryce Canyon is the darkest place in the US. In the evening we enjoyed some of the 7,500 stars to be seen by the naked eye.
Here are some of them above the hoodoos that are lit by the shine from the rising moon ...
... and our small RV parked in the woods under the stars.
From 9 am to 2 pm we were on the trails down in the canyon.
It is indeed an awe inspiring landscape that must be experienced by being there.
We were blessed with superb weather and had a very very nice trip – although the legs were somewhat tired towards the end on the steep ascend out of the canyon.
Tomorrow will take us south along a backcountry gravel road by some outstanding geological features.
Stay tuned!
